I have not been to Night Market since they converted from Thai food to Noodles. The interior has a modern, clean vibe and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. We ordered two noodle sets that came with appetizers and started with the mini karaage and mini tori nanban. Both were delicious. For the noodle bowls, we tried the burnt garlic tonkatsu and the jajang myeon. While both were decent, they were a little underwhelming and lacked the bold flavors we were hoping for. I’m not sure I would come back here since there are so many other great ramen and Korean restaurants in town.

Stopped by this place earlier today to get me some ramen and oh my the broth and everything else were pretty salty. So I ordered the burnt garlic tonkutsu, the broth was ok but more on the salty side, they gave you the whole egg, the chasu was good at least I gave them that but the mini tori namban was bad from the taste to it being very chewy too so I gave up after one piece. The mini fried wonton was so so but again also salty. The service however was on point as they do keep checking on you.

Night Market Noodle was excellent! My wife ordered the jajangmyeon and I got the demon ramen. it was seriously so good. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the black bean sauce was rich, savory, and full of flavor. It was super comforting and definitely one of the best bowls I’ve had in a while. * pro tip order extra noodle for the black bean noodles The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and the food came out quickly. If you’re in the area and craving a great noodle dish, this spot is definitely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. Restaurants like Night Market Noodle are known for flavorful ramen and noodle bowls with rich broths and creative Asian-inspired dishes, which is why they’ve become a popular stop for noodle lovers in Houston’s Chinatown area.

Best ramen in town. The burnt garlic ramen was full of umami goodness with a silky, rich texture. Mini side dishes: kimchi and fermented mustard green, with their sharp flavors, provided a great contrast by cutting through the fat of the broth. Adding to the appeal is the chill vibe that’s rare in a bustling city. Definitely would go back!

I arrived before my friend did & the atmosphere was VERY chill. Only one lady was working the register/serving, which was fine, I didn’t wait very long. She was super sweet throughout our entire service & I wish I remembered her name so I could highlight her here! My friend & I started off with appetizers & those brussel sprouts are SO good & she had never had brussel sprouts before. She ordered another plate after we finished those. The fried gyoza was also good! Just not as good as those brussel sprouts. The Tonkotsu was not as flavorful as I would have liked! I also had to spend $1.50 to make a spicy which I really kinda hate but I do it at other restaurants. I’ll be back to try different ramens for sure & their snack menu is extensive as well. Super affordable, worth the try ultimately. My friend ordered this lychee liquor & it was also pictured in one of the pictures I included!
